Celebrate this Bonfire Night 🎆

Bonfire Night is just around the corner and it's one of our favourite times of the year! There's nothing better than wrapping up warm, gathering loved ones and watching a firework display or toasting marshmallows.

How to keep extra warm:

It's important to make sure that children have plenty of layers on to keep them warm and cosy on Bonfire Night. A snuggly coat and protective footwear is essential. For extra warmth try Thermal base Layers and double up. Don't forget gloves, scarves and of course your LHW hat.

Don't forget to STAY SAFE:

🎆 It is recommended not to give sparklers to children under five years old, and that you never hold a sparkler whilst holding a baby.

🎆 Children should be supervised at all times when near a bonfire.

🎆 Anyone dealing with a bonfire or fireworks should avoid loose clothing and have their hair tied up and away.

🎆 If your child is holding a sparkler, make sure they’re wearing gloves and hold at arm's length, away from their face.

🎆 When a sparkler has finished, put it in a bucket of cold water before discarding.

🎆 If your child is young and uncomfortable with loud sounds, invest in a pair of ear defenders to keep out the bangs and help boost their confidence.
