I Need This - The Perfect Date
Let Little Hotdog Watson inspire you with this amazing present for your loved one or a perfect wedding present.
The idea all started in 2014, when Kate (mum of one) husband gave her a date jar. Containing 72 envelopes (she thinks he got a little bit carried away!) with date ideas. Every Monday morning she opened an envelope and had to do what the card said. It was all about making time for each other in busy life styles - something that is quite easily forgotten.
So, when Kate was talking to friends and family, they all were saying what a great idea and they wish they had the time.. then A Year of Dates was created. You now don't need the time to make them and it's a surprise for the both of you.
There are enough envelopes for one a week for a whole year, that’s the challenge! The cards vary from staying in the house, some involving travelling further afield. Some are free/cheap, others you can make more expensive – how you interpret the card is up to you.
A Year of Dates have now got an option to personalise your dates to make the gift extra special.
The most important message is laugh, kiss, cuddle and make memories whilst enjoying quality time together!
