They fully cover the ears, the sides and the back of the neck. Our hats neck flap is shaped to curve over the ears and are rounded at the edges for a smarter fit.
The flap is also lined so that it stays put (even on those wildest of adventures)! Many other hats with neck flaps are only one layer thick so offer very little in the way off sun protection.
